Tokenomics
ALPUN is the only fungible on-chain token in the Alpaca Universe. Everything else — resources, buildings, crafting, timers — stays off-chain in the game backend.
Design principles
- Points and progression come first; token rewards remain limited.
- Seasonal rewards are distributed from a fixed pool, not from unlimited emissions or permanent high APY.
- Staking generates Alpaca Energy — utility, not yield. Energy is spent inside the game.
- Off-chain resources (grass, water, wool, wood, stone) have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn to a wallet.
